Switzerland

I went to SWITZERLAND! While staying with my family in Germany and enjoying movie nights and day trips, my family decided to take a road trip from their home in Stuttgart, Germany about two hours south to Zurich, Switzerland as they were in search of a Swiss cow bell strap from the weekend markets there. There was a light rain shower occurring in the city, but that didn't deter us from our mission or take away from the beauty and enjoyment of the city and the country.

Umbrellas of the loyal Swiss customers walking through the streets of the market.

The National Bank of Switzerland

Swiss cow bells.. These are actually much larger than they appear! Probably weighing about 10 pounds each.

Such cute wooden shoes for sale!

Apparently a transportation option in Zurich is to use a water taxi that travels along the river which runs through the city.

There were Swiss flags everywhere.

On our drive back from Zurich and close to the border between Germany and Switzerland, my family took slight detour and drove us to Rheinfall, the widest waterfall in Switzerland and Europe.

They were selling fresh water from the waterfall at the gift shop at the entrance to the falls.

Lots of Swiss Army Knives were for sale at every shop!
