So many things to catch up on! After months of traveling and exploring different parts of Europe, I have finally settled into my life living in Bologna, Italy and studying at the University of Bologna and I have time to post the adventures I have been on! So far, I have traveled across a good number of countries throughout Europe and have met the most wonderful and caring people. This trip was taken with my family, Lisa and Cami, as they took me to this walled city that looked like it was made of real-life ginger bread houses. I was expecting Geppetto himself to walk out of his puppet making shop.
This picture is what Lisa referred to as the "postcard shot" because it's the exact point where all the photos for the postcards from this town are taken. So beautiful and quaint, calm and soothing little town.
Occupied by Nazis during WWII, this city was spared by bombings because the mother of one of the commanders in the U.S. military saw the beauty in the town and begged him to find an alternative to destroying the city to keep the history alive in this small town.
German bakery with lots of huge and delicious pretzels!
It's me standing at the wall! Hi Mom!
Found Pinocchio!
Quite the view surrounding this small, walled town.
