Natural History Museum - London, England

Full of all kinds of crazy cool skeletons and artifacts that are thousands of years old, the Natural History Museum was a trip! The architecture on the outside is quite impressive while the inside is a menagerie of gems of scientific discovery. Such a cool experience meandering through its halls. I didn't spend much time here, as it was a quick stop on our way to the V&A Museum, but I did spend enough time to appreciate just how quirky and packed it was with ancient artifacts.

Such beautiful architecture! Very large, powerful, imperial, and impressive.

It was such a massive building, you couldn't stop craning your neck upwards to view the building from below. It makes you feel so tiny in comparison!

My friend and travel companion, Miles!

This epic dinosaur skeleton is the first thing you see when you enter the museum. Quite the greeting I'd say!

It's correct in your train of thought if you think it looks like a church, because it was modeled after one in hopes of becoming a place held with as much reverence as that of a religious institution.

In line with the religious parallels, Darwin is seated at the back wall, perched like a god on his throne.

So many people were inside the museum! This is the view from above.

This tree trunk cut was super impressive!
The markings delineate the era in which each ring was grown and what was going on in the world at that time.

Did I mention that all the museums in London are free? This is one of the most impressive aspects about London, as you don't have to second guess obtaining knowledge from these places because they are free and therefore welcoming to the public.
