As we were sitting by the dock, a group of boys (about age 12) jumped into the river in their wetsuits and swam across the water (although it looks tranquil, there was definitely a strong current) and jumped back on land on the other side. It seemed like an organized team sport with a coach calling out to them.
Irish birds!
At one point, it got so windy on the pier that it was almost comical, and we couldn't help but crack up multiple times while walking from the way the wind was pushing us around.
This is the famous graffiti wall in Dublin of U2's infamous recording studio. It was undergoing construction while we were there, but we were able to view different parts of the wall.
There were lots of "I <3 U2" notes everywhere!
City Center of Dublin with its old buildings.
I had never seen an intersection painted in this way with the criss-crossing of lines.
We then hopped off the site-seeing bus and toured Trinity College, a historic landmark in Ireland. It was full of trouts and visitors waiting to get inside its gorgeous library.
Of course they had a grass track instead of dirt. Logically it makes sense because a dirt track would constantly get muddy due to the rain.
Not a sprinkler in site. I suppose it's not necessary when you are Ireland and it's always raining.
